SFPA's CP REVIEW & STUDY COURSE AT MDC's WOLFSON CAMPUS FOR NALA's CP EXAM IN PREPARATION FOR THE JANUARY 2012 TEST WINDOW.
The South Florida Paralegal Association (SFPA) is proud to present its CP Review & Study Course held at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus for those preparing to take the NALA-sponsored CP Exam in the month of January 2012. This eight-week Study Course is scheduled to begin on October 4, 2011 and continue through December 8, 2011.
Review classes are scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting at 6:00 p.m. at Miami Dade College's(MDC) Wolfson Campus located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue.
During Orientation on October 4th, any questions you may have about the study course plan, and the exam itself will be answered. You should should order your textbook to arrive by October 4th and bring with you to Orientation. Study for the classes the following week will begin on that day.
The study classes will span an eight-week period and provide students with the appropriate time period to study the material on their own, and participate in a weekly review of the material in the classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The mock exam on December 6th and 8th (split over two evening sessions) provides the students a further measure of confidence by simulating the testing environment.
Cost:
Entire review (consists of certain classes required for all, plus only the 4 substantive law sections on which you register to be tested). There is a $25.00 fee for parking at MDC Wolfson Campus (included in the registration price):
- SFPA members $200.00
- Non-members $220.00.
Individual classes (per class):
- SFPA members $50.00 (first class, $25.00 each additional class)
- Non-members $60.00 (first class, $35.00 each additional class)
Deadline to register (all registrations must be submitted online through this website, method of payment varies):
- Payment by check: September 27, 2011.
- Payment by credit card/PayPal: October 3, 2011.
- Payment by cash - October 4, 2011.

REQUIRED TEXTBOOK: Each participant MUST secure their own copy of the CLA Review Manual, 3rd Edition (green) to participate in SFPA's Study Course. You must have the copy in time for the Orientation class on October 4, 2011 to study the material covered in the review for the following week. The CLA Review Manual may be purchased from NALA directly at http://www.nala.org/publ.aspx.
Application with NALA for the exam and testing is now a two-step process, and arrangements are handled separately by the applicant directly with NALA, and/or the ACT Test Centers for registration.
