SFPA began in 1979 as a way to provide a local forum for ideas relating to the paralegal profession. In 1993 SFPA became an affiliate of (NALA) and continues to work diligently to enhance the competence and effective use of professional paralegals through education, active participation in the legal community and forming alliances with local and state bar associations.
