We have already chosen October 19, 2019, for the date of the event. Volunteers do not have to be present to be on the committee. The first meeting will be held in August 2019.
We are seeking volunteers to join the following subcommittees to help plan this year's event:
As a committee member, you will help us choose the location, assist with the selection of speakers, assist in preparing an event budget, and communicate with proposed vendors, etc. Please note that all the committee meetings will most likely take place after 5:00 p.m. The meeting location will be determined once a committee is formed. It will most likely consist of 3-4 in-person meetings and weekly communication. If this sounds like fun and you would like to get more involved, please register and choose the desired committee. Camillus House has provided humanitarian services to the indigent and homeless populations of Miami-Dade County, Florida for more than 50 years.
Established by the Little Brother of the Good Shepard in 1960, Camillus House has grown steadily over the years from a small overnight shelter into a full service center offering a “system of care” for persons who are poor and homeless.
Every service offered at Camillus is carried out with the deeply held belief that every human being is precious in the eyes of the Lord and deserves love, respect and a chance to live a dignified life.
Come help SFPA serve lunch and give back to our local community. Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
